QCA Irrigation Price Review 2025-29

Seqwater is developing a proposal for each water supply scheme (except Central Brisbane) to submit to the Queensland Competition Authority by the 30 November 2023. The proposal with inform prices for 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029.

Overview

Seqwater provides irrigation services across nine price-regulated water supply schemes areas in Southeast Queensland: seven bulk water supply schemes and two distribution schemes.

We are required to submit a pricing proposal for each scheme (excluding Central Brisbane WSS) by the 30 November 2023 to the QCA for their review. The proposals represent a holistic view of Seqwater’s proposed services, expenditure levels and irrigation prices for each tariff groups in all schemes as per the Referral Notice.

Engagement

Seqwater is committed to proactive, collaborative ongoing engagement with our customers, keeping a strong focus on what is important to our customers and acknowledge the feedback we have received over the past few years.

Our customer engagement plan will consist of three phases, as part of this we will be holding customer forums, customer reference group meetings, publishing project material online and emailing communications direct to customers.
